Botanical Illustration Class #6 & #7 & #8

Hello!
I'm a little behind posting about my class! And we're nearly to the end of it. (So sad.)

Class 6 was about colored pencil... not my favorite but nice to stretch those muscles.
Class 7 was watercolor pencil or regular watercolor... I opted for watercolor.
Class 8 was student's choice! We provided our own specimen(s) and could use whatever medium we preferred.

Our sixth class was on Valentine's Day so of course our instructor brought us roses to draw. I drew mine three times. (I like these drawings a lot better now than I did during class!)

This photo is perfect because it illustrates exactly how I start every Tuesday morning - chai from Crema Cafe and a stroll through the Brattle St. Florist - this time I got to buy something!

We have two more classes and both are student's choice. I wonder what I should bring in?!

This class has been great so far and if anyone is looking for a cool plant-drawing class on Tuesday mornings starting in April, I highly recommend this one at Cambridge Center for Adult Education!

  2. Try and get your hands on some dahlias! Those are amazing to draw. Or some lilacs! and the class would smell so pretty.
