Let Me Live There - no. 21

Amazing French shipping container home! This combines my love of three things 1) easily assembled structures, 2) sensible, recycled country living and 3) The Wire. home sweet home. I would definitely live in one of these (the functioning outer container doors would be great insulation during the harsh New England winters)!

Good Morning Houses

Here are some cute houses from around my neighborhood...

Cookie-cutter houses make me sad. Bright gingerbread-y ones make me happy. Jamaica Plain is full of them!

Let Me Live There - no. 5

There are few things I wouldn't do to live in a treehouse...

I'm off to Virginia for a wedding!
Have a lovely weekend.

Let Me Live There - no. 1

"Vancouver based Patkau Architects won a competition to design six houses in the nature reserve surrounding Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater house in Pennsylvania. Embedded in the landscape of Bear Run Nature Reserve, the six cottages will provide accommodation for visitors involved in the Fallingwater Institute’s educational programs."
