I'm not sure if this is real or a mock-up but apparently you can buy that image as a giant decal here. We have some narrow little strips of wall in our house - maybe they ALL need a cloud treatment. And aside from that mountain of clouds, doesn't everyone want to live in a crumbly old loft apartment and one point or another?

Oh how I long for a studio space. For many years as I hopped form apartment to apartment I had all manner of studio nooks and corners and then finally, in my last place, a whole room. Now I work in the kitchen and at the dining table and it works just fine (and let's not forget, having a small place saves money for a bigger future place!) but I still want a room of my own for my work, my business, and my messes. This one is so beautiful. Someday...

I don't have much time for reading these days (though "read finish more books" is on my list of 2013 goals) but if I had this little window seat, it would be quite the chore to get me to leave.

Our current kitchen is great but there's just something about a big, white, farmy cooking-space that gets me every time. (And I have to say, I'm especially charmed by those little crooked drawers on the left.)

That thing in the corner - it's a wood stove. All that lovely ceramic-tiled surface area must be so warm! I'll have to look these up, I keep seeing them in photos of European homes. I think they're relics of another era but maybe still in use? I want one.

A Cabin in a Loft! It's a one-room B&B and apparently available for event rentals too! I love this concept and would like to see it in person someday. It has a tumblr too!
